Walk Against Family Violence
Thursday 25 November 2021 Caulfield Park, 12noon - 1pm, Corner Balaclava & Hawthorn Roads
WALK AGAINST FAMILY VIOLENCE
Now in its 13th year, the 'Walk Against Family Violence' is held in support of the 'International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women' and aims to raise awareness of the impact of family violence on the community, and remember those who have lost their lives to family violence.
Pathways Melbourne is pleased to join a range of community organisations, including Jewish Care, Jewish Community Council Of Victoria, Tzedek, NCJWA (Vic), Unchain My Heart, Maccabi Victoria, Progressive Judaism Victoria, Impact, and the Rabbinical Council of Victoria to walk together and send a clear message that the Jewish community says no to family violence.
Due to current restrictions, numbers are limited at this event and social distancing rules apply. We'll share photos of the event.

A trained facilitator will work with the group to develop our own set of guidelines for ‘Meet Ups’. We will also explore the Mentor Program that is currently being developed.
And, to help Pathways create a 'Welcome pack' for new Pathfinders, our current Pathfinders will provide feedback and insights on how they wished they had been welcomed when they first left their community, had Pathways Melbourne existed.
This meeting is strictly for people who have left their Orthodox Jewish community or are deliberating over whether to stay or leave. For confidentiality and safety of those attending, please don't bring others without contacting us first: info@pathwaysmelbourne.org
