PATH4LIFE | For Mentors

Being a PATH4LIFE Mentor is a meaningful and inspiring volunteer role. As a Mentor, you will support others to recognise their self-worth and pursue their goals whilst respecting Jewish identity and cultural sensitivity.

How it works

Our Mentors walk alongside Jewish people who are questioning their religiosity, supporting them to reach their full potential.

We offer three types of caring Mentors:
Buddy Mentors – Offering shared lived experience, a listening ear and practical guidance.
Professional Mentors – Providing support with study, careers, job seeking and higher education applications.
Life Skills Mentors – Giving companionship, everyday experiences and space to explore life beyond community.

What you will gain

As a Mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference by empowering your Mentee to build confidence, life skills and direction. You’ll draw on your own Jewish identity, professional knowledge and strengths while receiving training and ongoing support from Pathways. Supporting a Pathfinder on their journey of self discovery is a deeply rewarding experience.
