Contact info@pathwaysmelbourne.org for enquiries
Our 'Orly' (My Light in Hebrew) Programs are addressing Jewish youth homelessness in a way that respects
identity and community connection, together with Lighthouse Foundation. We offer culturally sensitive housing for young people across the Jewish community who are not safe living with their parents.

Orly House: A Jewish youth safe house

Orly House offers a nurturing, secure and Kosher home for vulnerable Jewish young people (age 16+), with 24/7 live-in care and a dedicated Therapeutic Case Manager to support healing from trauma and the development of essential life skills.

Orly House Community Committee

Our volunteer-led, Orly House Community Committee, brings Jewish connection, enriching cultural activities, and a family-like sense of belonging to the home on a regular basis. This important committee ensures that Orly House feels like a real Jewish home.

Orly Kinship Care

With careful guidance and support, Jewish families will be able to open their homes to at-risk Jewish youth. With Lighthouse's training and ongoing support, Pathways is preparing Jewish community carers to offer safe, culturally familiar homes for vulnerable Jewish young people (age 0+). As the need arises, Pathways matches youth with carers and provides practical household support.
