For this program, Pathways has partnered with Chazak — a grassroots organisation founded during the pandemic by religious Jewish mothers with lived experience navigating complex family and faith dynamics. Our Parenting Skills Workshops offer a thoughtfully designed 6-week parenting program, led by two highly experienced family therapists. This small and confidential peer group setting allows parents to explore challenges, share experiences, and build useful skills.
Through engaging weekly workshops, parents will gain practical tools and meaningful insights to strengthen their relationships with both their children and spouses — fostering better communication, and improved connections between family members. The program tackles difficult topics such as shame, stigma, grief and the tensions that can arise between parents. Jewish texts are explored alongside contemporary texts.
