Why become a Mentor?

Being a PATH 4 LIFE Mentor is a meaningful and inspiring role. As a Mentor you will have the opportunity encourage others to discover their self-worth and achieve their goals.  Our Mentors provide life-changing support to Pathfinders who may be deliberating over the risks verses the rewards of leaving, are transitioning, or have recently left their ultra-Orthodox / Orthodox community.

PATH 4 LIFE offers three types of Mentors for Pathfinders:

As a Buddy Mentor you will have the special opportunity to share your lived experience and use your personal knowledge to help Pathfinders develop greater confidence and important life skills.

As a Professional Mentor you will be in a unique position to draw upon your professional skills and knowledge to empower Pathfinders to fulfil their professional aspirations and life goals.

As a Life Skills Mentors you will be able guide individual Pathfinders to reach their full potential in life, inspiring your Mentee with greater confidence.

You will receive professional training from Pathways Melbourne and the opportunity to enhance your interpersonal skills.

Supporting a Pathfinder through their journey of discovery is a unique experience that you will find personally enriching.
